EDITOR'S NOTES.
CORRESPONDENCE.
IS The Ypres Times.
To the Editor of The Ypres Times.
Sir,As your League is aware, about the month
of March, 1915, the Ypres people thought the
town saved and resumed publication of the
Ypres newspaper, Het Ypresche Volk, which had
been closed down the previous October. The first
issue of the resumed publication, in three languages
of the Allies, was on 14th March, 1915, and I
purchased one in the town of Ypres on that date.
Its value depends on whether there are other
copies. I should be obliged if you could inform me
whether you know of other copies and whether
you think the one I have of sufficient value to
dispose of. The town was burned to the ground
within a month of the issue.
Yours faithfully,
G. J. Bali..

war maps of the Ypres district (with the thousand
yard squares) which were served out to officers
in October, 1914, sell one to Mrs. Pumphrey,

To the Editor of The Ypres Times.

was reported wounded and missing on August
16th, 1917. during an engagement in the Ypres
