St. Ann's Hotel, Buxton. To Members of the Ypres League, The October edition of the Ypres Times will be the last of the 10th anniversary year, and I venture to hope that members of the League will mark the occasion by endeavouring to recruit fresh members. There can hardly be anyone in this country who has not had someone connected with them who served in the Ypres Salient during the four fateful years of its defence. I do not think it is using too strong an expression if I say it is a sacred duty for all such to do all in their power to perpetuate the memory of that service, so that it shall be handed [down as a glorious record to future generations. ftCusw u August 24th, 1930. President of the YpresfLeague.
