IN consequence of the lease expiring at 9, Baker Street,
Portman Square, London, W.l, the premises of which are
shortly to be demolished, it became necessary for us to
seek suitable quarters for our offices elsewhere, and we are
pleased to inform our members that we have been extremely
fortunate in securing ideal accommodation on the first floor of
20, ORCHARD STREET, PORTMAN SQUARE,
LONDON, W.l.
Our new address is certainly more central and acces
sible, being only about fifty yards from Oxford Street, and
within a few yards of the stopping-place for omnibuses from
all parts of London. The exact location is immediately
facing Selfridge's Car Park, in Orchard Street. Marble Arch
and Bond Street are the nearest tube stations, the latter
being no more than eighty yards distant along Oxford Street
from Orchard Street.
We trust that the many members and friends we had the
privilege and pleasure to receive at our old quarters in Baker
Street will honour us with a visit at the new premises and
agree that the present headquarters are in every respect
worthy of the League.
