Bishop of London's Glowing Tribute.
WITH simple, yet dignified and impressive ceremonial, the Bishop of London
dedicated the memorials to Field Marshal Viscount Plumer, the late
President of the Ypres League, in St. George's Church, Ypres, on the
morning of Sunday, June 4th.
The officiating clergy included the Bishop of Fulham (North and Central
Europe) and the Rev. G. R. Milner, British Chaplain at Ypres. The beautiful
little church, the foundation stone of which was laid by the late Field Marshal
in July, 1927, was filled to overflowing by members of the British community in
Ypres and visitors from the British Isles. Amongst those present to honour his
