Branches and Corresponding Members. 84 The Ypres Times. tary'had instructions to procure a wreath with a suitable inscription and the representatives were asked to take the wreath with them and lay it on the Cenotaph after it had been unveiled. The Secretary was instructed to write to the Glasgow Cenotaph Committee asking if tickets could be obtained for all lady members resident in the city to be present at the unveiling ceremony. It was proposed that a personal appeal should be made to each local member to try to get the aims and activities of the League better known in Scotland than they are. The Secretary reported that he had been written to by many on the subject of pilgrimages to the Salient during the summer. It was thought that, if a sufficient number came forward from Glasgow, a party could be arranged. The Secre tary had also knowledge that persons in other parts of Scotland were desirous of going to the Ypres district this summer. The Committee accordingly instructed the Corresponding Secre tary to ask the Secretary of the League in London if it was necessary to be a member of the Ypres League before one could undertake a trip to the Salient under their auspices. It was considered advisable that for the present the Interim Committee should meet once every two weeks and Dr. Roy Young offered the use of a room in his house for the meetings of the Com mittee, which was gratefully accepted. The next meeting of the Committee was fixed for Thursday, 29th instant. A vote of thanks was given to the Chairman.
