The London County Committee are pleased to announce that the second Re-union Smoking Concert will be held on Friday, October 10th, 1924, at the Great Hall, Cannon Street Hotel, at 7 p.m. Price of tickets will be 5s., 2S. 6d., and is. Tables can also be reserved. The last Smoking Concert was a great successs and it is hoped that the members and friends of the League will endeavour to make the forthcoming one as successful. The Committee are grateful to Captain E. Clive Maskelyne, who has kindly undertaken to provide the programme for the evening, and so all are assured of a "good time." Full particulars will be given in the next issue of the Times, but the London County Committee ask members to book the date and also desire that all will endeavour to make the Smoking Concert as widely known as possible. The Hon. Secretary of the London County Committee will be glad to receive the names of any ladies or gentlemen willing to act as stewards for the occasion, or help in any other way. OUR NEW QUARTERS. It may not be generally known that the house we now occupy as our headquarters is the one that was inhabited by the late Field Marshal Sir Henry Wilson, and on the doorstep of which he •was killed. We feel that it is a great privilege to be allowed to use so historic a building, and we must see to it that the Ypres League is worthy of its headquarters. PILGRIMAGES. The Whitsun Pilgrimage did not come off. A few enquired about itonly one or two went. There are signs that we may do better for the August Bank Holiday, if those who can go will only let me know at once. Do not forget that the August Bank Holiday this year coincides with the tenth Anniversary of Britain's declaration of War. Our Belgian allies have not forgotten it, and are preparing a special welcome for members of jthe League who can be present at Ypres on that date. We shall leave London on Saturday, August 2nd. Come with us, as many of you as possibly can.
