PATRICK ALLISTON, at Malvern CoUege. only 71, and attractive photographs are given of a few of them, but we anticipate a busy recruiting season during the autumn and winter, and shall not be satisfied until the membership of the Junior Division is sufficiently large to more than replace casualties. It is also likely that the new movement will beneficially affect ordinary membership, by checking resignations, in ducing many of those who have resigned to join up again, and by leading to further recruiting. Publicity is so difficult, and so expensive, that many of those who took part in the defence of the Salient have never even heard of the League, or at any rate have not been made to realize that it is their duty to join it. Individual Members are reminded that it is in their power to assist materially in the intensive recruiting campaign which will begin at the Annual Reunion and Smoker to be held in the Cannon Street Hotel on October 15th, and of which details are given elsewhere in this number.
