Gabbett-Fairfax, 11th R.B., believed killed on
August 14th, 1917, close to a German pill-box
named Au Bon Gite on the river Steenbeke
during the Passchendaele offensive.
If Mr. Frank Smith, formerly of the Darlington
Troop, Northumberland Yeomanry, or any of his
friends, see this notice, Mrs. Pumphrey, of
Hindley Hall, Stocksfield, Northumberland, would
be very glad to have his address.
