LONDON COUNTY COMMITTEE.
The London County Committee are pleased to
announce that the Third Re-union Smoking Con
cert will be held on Thursday, October 15th,
1925, at the Great Hall, Cannon Street Hotel, at
7 p.m., when Brig.-Gen. R. J. Kentish, C.M.G.,
D.S.O., will take the chair. Price of tickets will
be 5s., 2s. 6d. and Is. Tables can also be reserved
The previous smoking concerts have been great
successes and members are urged to support
energetically this re-union by attending and bringing
their friends. It is hoped that all will assist in
thus keeping alive the comradeship of the past,
one of the objects of the League. Ladies are
specially invited.
The Ambassadors and Military Attachés of
Belgium, France and America have consented
to be present, also the High Commissioners of
Australia, New Zealand and Newfoundland. India
and Canada will be represented.
Murray Ashford's Felixstowe Entertainers are
supplying the programme, and the Committee are
confident that a very successful and enjoyable
evening will be spent.
Members and friends are asked to be sure and
secure a ticket early and also to make the Smoking
Concert as widely known as possible. The London
County Committee hope that members will en
deavour to make the event a record one and so ask
all to do their best for the cause.

RE-UNION DINNER-LONDON COJNTY
COMMITTEE.
The London County Committee are holding a
Re-union Dinner to members and friends at
Anderton's Hotel, Fleet Street, London, B.C., on
Friday, 11th December, 1925, at 7 for 7.30 p.m.
It is hoped that members of the League will
give their hearty support on this occasion. A
musical programme has also been arranged.
Tickets can be obtained from the Hon. Secre
tary of the London County Committee, 9, Baker
Street, Portman Square, W.l, price 6s. 6d. for
members, 8s. 6d. for guests. It is desirable
that early application should be made.

MEMBERSHIP OF THE LEAGUE.
This is open to all who served in the Salient,
and to all those whose relatives or friends died
there, in order that they may have a record of
that service for themselves and their descendants,
and belong to the comradeship of men and women
who understand and remember all that Ypres
meant in suffering and endurance.
Life membership, £2 10s. Annual members, 5s.
Special charges are made to those who cannot
afford the 5s. subscription.
Do not let the fact of your not having served
in the Salient deter you from joining the Ypres
League. Those who have neither fought in the
Salient nor lost relatives there, but who are in
sympathy with the objects of the Ypres League,
are admitted to its fellowship but are not given
scroll certificates.
There is also a J unior Division, to which children
or near relatives of those who served in the
Salient, have a right to belong. Annual Sub
scription, 1/- up to the age of 18, after which
they can become ordinary members of the
League.
Among the Objects of the League are
I.Commemoration, comradeship and help.
II.To arrange special facilities for travel and
transport of members.
III.To furnish information about the Salient
to mark historic sites, and to compile
charts of the battlefields.
IV.To secure the erection of an outstanding
memorial of the Defence.
V.To diffuse amongst members information
on all matters connected with the battle
fields.
VI.To establish, maintain, regulate and control
groups of members throughout the world,
through corresponding members.
VII.-To establish cordial relations with the
dwellers of the battlefields of Ypres.
