YPRES MEMORIAL CHURCH. 22 Thb Ypres Times. YI'RES MEMORIAL CHURCH. (In course of erection.) Designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield, R.A. The photographs of the exterior of the Church and a portion of the interior, as designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield, are here shown. The Foundations of the Church, as well as the School (the latter is being built by Eton ians)are now practically completed, and progress has been made with the walls of the School To prevent the design of the interior being incongruous, the Committee have been guided by Sir Reginald Blomfield's advice. Owing to climate and want of light, no stained glass windows are being used, only plain glazing with shields or badges. The East window has been given by the Guards Division and the West by the Third Corps in conj unction with the 4th and 6th Divisions. The large hanging Cross shown with the East window has been given by the 23rd Division. One of the eight side windows has also been given. It is hoped that eventually all the equipment for the interior of the Church may be given by regimental units or individuals as Memorials.
