The Ypres League has accepted the invitation of the League of the Empire to take
part in the Royal Review which is being held on Saturday, May 19th, 1928, in Hyde Park
in celebration of Empire Day, and which will represent The Youth and Veterans of the
Empire."
H.R.H. The Duke of York will inspect the parade and take the salute for the march
past.
We are anxious to secure as many members as possible and invite each member to
bring with him an ex-Service man in order that the League may be well represented.
All ex-Service men of the Ypres League will assemble just inside the Park at the
Stanhope Gate, Park Lane, ready to move off at 4 p.m.
Uniform should be worn where possible. Otherwise, morning dress with medals.
Lieut.-General Sir Herbert Uniacke, K.C.B., K.C.M.G., C.B., will command the
parade.
Applications to attend should be addressed to the Hon. Secretary, London County
Committee, Ypres League, 9, Baker Street, W.i.
