YPRES BRITISH SETTLEMENT. 40 THE YPRES TIMES A Special Service will be held at St. George's Church, Ypres, on Sunday, June 5th, at 10.30 a.m., conducted by the Bishop of Fulham (North and Central Europe). The banner of the 5th Division, the record case presented by the Second Army Staff and several brasses will be unveiled and dedicated. Below is the photograph and description of the Second Army record case. SECOND ARMY RECORD CASE. THE above is a photograph of the Record Case that has been Presented by the Second Army Staff to St. George's Church at Ypres in memory of their fallen comrades." The Record Case has been carried out from the designs of Sir Reginald Blomfield, R.A., by Monsieur de Wispeleare of Bruges. The materials are wainscot oak with inlays of box on ebony veneer. On the centre panel of the lower cupboards is the Second Army badge inside a wreath. The upper part of the Cabinet has a hinged and glazed antique top, and the interior is lined with red velvet. In this the Rolls of Honour presented to the Church will be kept displayed. The case is dustproof and of similar construction to some in the British Museum.
