PILL-BOXES IN THE YPRES SALIENT.
It will be of interest to our members to know
that satisfactory arrangements are being made
for the preservation of some of the remaining
pill-boxes in the Salient, and our thanks are
due to Major Paul Slessor of "Toe H and
Colonel E. G. L. Thurlow, D.S.O. (on behalf of
the British Legion), for the work they have
done in co-operation with the Belgian authori
ties. We hope to have the pleasure to announce
full particulars in our January, 1933, edition of
this journal.

of October, 1931, and the April, 1932, editions
kindly post them to the Secretary, Ypres League,

A CORRECTION.
In the last edition of the Ypres Times, we
regret to note that an error has been made on
page 1, para. 1, line 10, in the spelling of the
name of Miss G. Moggach, to whom we offer our
sincere apology.
WREATHS.
Arrangements are made by the Ypres League
to place wreaths for relatives on the graves of
British soldiers situated in France and Belgium
at the following times of the year
EASTER, ARMISTICE DAY, CHRISTMAS.
The wreaths may be composed of natural
flowers, laurel, or holly, and can be bought at
the following prices12s. 6d., 15s. 6d., and 20s.,
according to the size and quality of the wreath.
SERVICE HERALDRY.
Arrangements have been made by which
members of the Ypres League, on payment of
3s. registration fee, can have an exclusive design
submitted to them embodying a record of their
own war service. This will be sent free of any
further charge, unless they desire, upon approval
of the design, to have it reproduced in enamelled
colours on a Shield. The price of the latter will
be 2is. the Shields to be mounted on ebonized
wood panels, 4 in. by 5 in. In return for the
3s. fee, however, the design will consist of a
coloured pencil sketch and will bear the number
given to it in the Roll of Service Shields. The
shields are proving popular, particularly among
our American members.
YPRES LEAGUE TIE.
At the request of the majority of our members
we have been pleased to produce the tie in better
quality silk and in a darker shade of cornflower
blue relieved by a narrow gold stripe. The
price is 3s. 6d. post free, and all members of the
League should possess one.

YPRES LEAGUE BADGE.
The design of the badgea lion guarding a
portcullis gaterepresents the British Army
defending the Salient, which was the gate to the
Channel Ports.
The badge, herewith reproduced, is brilliantly
enamelled with silver finish. Price 2s., post
free 2s. i )d (pin or stud, whichever is desired).

PHOTOGRAPHS OF WAR GRAVES.
The Ypres League has made arrangements
whereby it is able to supply photographs (nega
tive, and one print, post-card size, unmounted)
of graves situated in the Ypres Salient, and in
the Hazebrouck and Armentières areas, at the
price of 10s. each.
TWELFTH ANNUAL REPORT.
We wish to draw attention to the exceedingly
interesting Twelfth Annual Report of the
Imperial War Graves Commission, containing
some fine reproductions of War cemeteries
situated in France, Germany, Syria, Italy,
Greece, Holland, and South Africa. Copies of
the Report may be obtained on application to
